Refund Policy

Last updated: October 2025

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and resales are handled by Powerful Tickets, a trading name of The Powerful Group Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number available upon request), with its registered office at 7A High Street, High Barnet, Greater London, EN5 5UE (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By purchasing any Ticket or Hospitality Package from us (through our Website or otherwise), you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions which can be found at the bottom of our website.

1. General Policy – All Sales Are Final

1.1. All Tickets and Hospitality Packages sold by Powerful Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the purchase has been completed, except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy or required by law.

1.2. Each purchase represents a confirmed booking for a specific Event and date. Due to the nature of live entertainment and Event scheduling, we are unable to offer refunds for:

  • Change of personal circumstances (including illness, travel issues, or other commitments);

  • Failure to attend the Event;

  • Dislike of seat allocation, view, or hospitality arrangements;

  • Weather conditions, transport strikes, or similar external factors.

1.3. This policy applies equally whether the Customer pays in full at checkout or through an instalment/payment plan (such as Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or any other third-party payment service).

2. Event Cancellation, Postponement or Material Change

2.1. If an Event is cancelled (and not rescheduled), the Customer may be entitled to a refund limited to the face value of the Ticket or Hospitality Package. Refunds are subject to the policies of the Promoter, Venue, or Event organiser.

2.2. If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, the booking will automatically transfer to the new date. Refunds will not normally be issued in these circumstances unless the Venue or Promoter authorises them.

2.3. If a refund is approved by the Promoter or Venue, we will process it on behalf of the Customer once funds have been received from the relevant third party.

2.4. Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used to make the purchase. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, or Klarna).

3. Customer-Initiated Cancellations and Resales

3.1. Customers may request assistance in reselling their Tickets or Hospitality Packages if they can no longer attend the Event. Acceptance of such requests is at the sole discretion of Powerful Tickets.

3.2. If we agree to assist in resale, the following terms apply:

  • We will use reasonable efforts to resell the Ticket(s) on the Customer’s behalf.

  • Resales are not guaranteed and depend on Event demand and availability.

  • If a resale is successful, a processing fee of 10% of the resale price will be deducted from the refund amount to cover administrative and transaction costs.

  • Refunds from resales will be issued only after the new buyer’s payment has been confirmed and cleared.

3.3. If the Ticket cannot be resold before the Event date, no refund will be issued. The Customer remains responsible for the full cost of the original booking.

3.4. Tickets may not be resold independently by the Customer without our prior written consent, as resale restrictions may apply under the Venue or Promoter’s terms.

4. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

4.1. Customers are strongly advised not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes with their bank, card provider, or payment service before contacting us.

4.2. We aim to resolve all genuine issues promptly and fairly.
If a chargeback is raised without prior communication, we reserve the right to dispute the claim and provide supporting evidence that the purchase was valid and fulfilled according to this Policy.

4.3. In cases of fraudulent or unauthorised transactions, please contact us immediately at info@powerfultickets.com so that we can liaise with the relevant payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, or Klarna) to investigate.

5. Processing of Approved Refunds

5.1. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction.

5.2. Refunds may take up to 10–14 working days to appear, depending on the payment provider and bank processing times.

5.3. Refunds will be issued in pounds sterling (GBP). If the Customer paid in another currency, exchange rate differences or bank fees may affect the final amount received.

5.4. Powerful Tickets accepts no responsibility for any delays caused by third-party payment processors.

6. Consumer Rights

6.1. This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

6.2. However, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, tickets for specific dated events are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period. Accordingly, once you have made a confirmed purchase, you do not have the automatic right to cancel.

7. Force Majeure

7.1. We are not responsible for refunding any amounts if an Event cannot take place or is delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, extreme weather, strikes, terrorism, pandemics, or venue closures).
